Beautiful things can happen when we focus on the good. When we look, each and every day, for the beautiful and the positive things that happen, our whole worldview can shift.
Use this Find the Good Capture Sheet this fall season, and share with your friends and family all of the good that you see each day throughout autumn.
Choose to use either the smallest blocks (42 blocks total), the middle-sized blocks (30 blocks total), or the largest blocks (20 blocks total)–whichever works best for your needs.
Some families work together to fill each box on the sheet, and then they do a family celebration afterward. Other families will do individual challenges; you do what is best for your crew!
Before you give this to kids, talk about what it looks like, sounds like, and feels like to ‘give back’ or ‘do good’. Brainstorm a list of ways you can share good each day, whether it’s:
- holding the door for someone
- carrying groceries into the house
- helping with chores without being asked
- putting the dishes into the dishwasher
- making a snack or a meal
- sharing a smile
- leaving a kind note for someone
- giving someone a compliment–the list can go on and on!
